32.4.2AI » aux master » Go to message
My question is: how can I synchronize the physical position of the AUX-Master Volume-Knobs with the recalled adjustments. There should be something like a fader-locate mode as it is for the channel faders. But I couldn't find that for the AUX-Master Volumes.

Yes friends, I own a 24.4.2 but I was talking about the 32.4.2AI.
See this thread:
http://forumsarchive.presonus.com/posts/list/44895.page

I'm thinking of buying a 32.4.2 but would like to know, which issues are already solved and which are still known.
Thanks for your replies. Maybe someone from presonus can join.

When will the known issue (GEQ low frequency problem) be a solved issue? Or is it already solved? Where can I get reliable information on known and solved issues?

I'm not talking of the input gains, which are not recallable. I'm talking about the aux-master volumes. They are recallable, but there seems to be no "locate"-mode or similar. How do I synchronize the adjustments in the scene and on the board?

i read that the 32.4.2 can save and recall the aux-master volumes. how can i sychronize the saved value with the physical position of the volume-knobs?

If I replace the inserted IO-card (that has the firewire connectors) by the DANTE-card (if it would be available), will the ethernet and the firewire connectors be gone? And if so, how can I connect cablewise to a router (for remote access) and to VSL or Capture (via firewire)?

Thanks Mono.
Do you know if the MacBook Pro is capable of the new firewire s800, which the 32.4.2. has?

We already have a 24.4.2 of the first generation and think about a 32.4.2.
My questions:
- will our MacBook (17", Intel Core i7, 2.2 GHz, OSX 10.6. still be good and powerful enough for the necessary version of VSL, capture ...
- I learned, that I can connect iPad directly to the board. What about the RTA functions? Are they available on the iPad now or just on a connected PC?
- how do the 32 fades fit on the 17" screen? Or don't they and I need to scroll?
Thanks for any answers.

Hi Mono and thanks a lot for your information. Concerning the last question I think the features of something like the S16 will fit most of the users requirements..... o.k.,at least of ours
I know, that presonus is not telling much about release dates, but what is the time horizon, we are talking about.

What about a Digital Stagebox? Will Presonus come out with something like that? When will a interface-card for the AI-Mixers be available (if they aren't yet)? What would be a recommended setup with a digital stagebox for a 32.4.2 AI?
24.4.2 » Daisy chain 2 SL24.4.2 » Go to message
We actually have a 24.4.2, which we normally use with a MacBook (mostly for the possibility to remote control and to do the AUX-Mix remotely on stage. All works perfect. I've read that it's possible to daisy chain 2 SL24.4.2 to have a 48 channel mixer. What about the connection to VSL, Remote, QMix, capture? Can I connect the MAC to 2 daisy chained SL24.4.2? Can I use VSL, iPad, capture with that? Thanks for any information.

Has anybody out there already experience with the notion software? I've seen the video, showing that you can creat scores from studio one tracks. Is that really working? What are the limitations? Thanks for any information.

I'm an almost beginner on working with MAC products and knew it would come out like this
In fact it's an original apple one button mouse. Thanks for your "helping hand".

That's what I thought. But it isn't that way. At least not on my MAC.
