Wow.

I think Motoko's explanation is the best one I have ever seen on the subject.
Truly great internet moment.

Here is the complete list of differencies between versions:

http://studioone.presonus.com/what-are-the-versions/

For me no VST support is the main reason to upgrade to atleast producer. I really like native products, but sometimes
you just might need some extra.

I just got one of these numpad thingies, awesome!
Studio One General Discussion » Sample One is a bit buggy and need some improvements » Go to message
While I totally agree that Sample one could use some work (getting an external sampler is not the solution because "send to new sampleone" and drag n' drop are lovely) I've never understood why on earth do people need effects on every vsti?

To me it is much more usable just put my favourite plugin on the console channel when i need it, not to clutter up instrument interface with useless tiny buttons and use cpu for (usually) 2nd grade effects.

Am I missing out on something here? What would be the advantages having separate reverb on SampleOne for example?
Studio One Feature Requests » Midi Controller Min and Max values. » Go to message
I really would like to adjust the min/max values of mapped parameters, because some of them are quite extreme.

Worst I've seen is the gain on compressor which goes up to whopping +48db! While this is dangerous enough with a mouse,
with midi controller I will blow up my speakers soon enough.

Another example I can think of straight away is predelay on mixverb, where usable range for me is 0-60ms, which is only like 1/5th of the full range. It makes it near impossible to adjust with a midi controller.

Studio One General Discussion » my metronome click track is too loud » Go to message
umm, so you have studiolive? I ve never touched one of those, maybe it has some sort of built in metronome that is playing?
So it is not S1-s metronome at all, or even both are playing? I hope some SL owners can chime in.
Studio One General Discussion » my metronome click track is too loud » Go to message
umm there are sliders for accent level and click level? Or is it too loud even when at minimum?
Studio One General Discussion » my metronome click track is too loud » Go to message
Clicking the little wrench icon next to metronome icon in toolbar opens click preferences, where you can adjust accent and metronome volume and even choose samples!
Studio One General Discussion » quick midi editing question... » Go to message
Ctrl click on the left of editor where the notes or drum note labels are i.e. on the word "kick "
ctrl alt clicking selects all the notes, ctrl the selected clip's notes.

Most of all we need new versions!
All the time! Gimme 3! 4! 100!
I cant get any work done otherwise!
Studio One General Discussion » Studio One Stops Recording Randomly » Go to message
I have similar problems with S1 and Firestudio Project. Oddly, this seems to occur only when using UC mixer. If I monitor through S1 zero latency, it doens't happen.
Studio One General Discussion » Midi capture in Studio One 2 is off (even when it first released) » Go to message
Ok after hours of testing with midi loopback, and recording midi and audio at the same time, I have come to the conclusion that the only thing
off time is me

I sincerely apologize to everyone.

Also big thanks for all that helped.
