I second Bbd
bring the bass a bit more in front and maybe ad some subbass.
you should better shut off your subbass speaker
you allways get the impession that you have to much bass.
I made this step because win 7 had problems with my i7 3930k.
I had dropouts with my firewire audio interface.
I checked the latency with a freeware called latencymonitor.
The program told me to shut off every advantage of my procesor like speedstep and hyperthreading.
Now I'm really happy with my DAW.
But I think it belongs to your machine if every thing will work like mine.
I was building up a new mashine, clean install of win 7 x64 and studio one 2.6 x64.
From now on i cant prelisten to any sample i have.
in the meantime I found out when I turn off the time stretch function in prelisten, I get no crash.
I've read out a crash dump with the windows debugger and there is definitely a problem with the ellastique.dll.
i dont have a RME hardware, so it has nothing to do with the driver.
I'm in contact with the presonus support, to solve the problem.
all who have a firewire audio interface should take distance from the update to win8 . There are a lot of user at the RME forum who write that the firewire drivers in win8 are not available or crap.
thanx for reply.
yes maybe there can be done something more, but i was just trying maschine for an arrangment.
i will go the breakbeat way in future, but not with the maschine sequenzer.
i'm more in love withe the traditional sequenzer like s-one.
you have to set up another instrument under the midi options to set up the virus kb.
i cant remember if it is a generic keyboard or if it is under the access tab, i dont own a virus.
you can just use one audio hardware at time.
a way to get around is to use asio4all, but the latency makes it almost impossible to record with the mic.
