I just started using my faderport again. still haven't assigned that button to anything. was thing about maybe setting it up for the loop selected event macro.

Does anybody else feel like the buttons on the faderport should have been rubber? not a hard plastic? for some reason they feel really cheap to me.

sorry, i was reading through this thread to learn to be honest. I record myself mostly in a bedroom. my set up is pretty simple and i don't really need cue mixes. I'm a hobbyist at best. I wish i could be of help. you're in good hands though. Lokeyfly amongst a few others around here are definitely your best bet to figuring this thing out. if it's possible

good luck man.

My RME UCX arrived this weekend. Pretty excited about it. Haven't had a chance to hook microphones up to it yet, but been recording my TR8 and ms2000 through it quite a bit. love it so far but it's gonna take a couple real sessions to wrap my head around the Total mix fx.
Studio One General Discussion » What are you Listening To? » Go to message
hey Branam, you mentioned your distaste for "mainstream" music. I can fully appreciate that. I'd like for you to listen to At the Drive-In. Great album called Relationship of command. give it a shot. you won't regret it. almost any song, but you could start with the first if you'd like.

Also, the first 2 Clutch records are fantastic too.

Peace!

If you can, listen to Enfilade. and rolodex propaganda (guest spot with iggy pop). good songs

matthewgorman wrote:I can probably offer the services of a real drummer. The guy just likes to play, so I could probably work something out. I have a few projects coming up, so if you are looking for something fast it may not be a fit. I could get you audio tracks, and I could also use either Melodyne or transients to translate to midi. However, his kit sounds outstanding. Maple Ludwig, with a 20x24 cannon of a kick drum.

What style of music is it? PM me if you are interested. If you have a couple songs maybe would could drop a few down for you in one session. He works for beer so the price is right.

Be advised, the drum tracks may come back with a heavy Northeast accent.

I think he said it's Iron Maiden.
