Perhaps Presonus should refer to it as the locator to clear up any confusion

That was indeed the thread, it had a lot of positive comments from forum members and lots of creative ideas were added to enhance the feature. Maybe it'll surface in version 3?

Not sure this feature is in the manual but one of the functions in studio one is incorrectly named.
The function is called Move To Cursor. Now when I saw that I thought "ah, selecting an event and then running move to cursor will move the event where the mouse cursor currently is on the screen".
Nope, what it does is move the event to the locators position. Big difference. Presonus please fix this inconsistency.

This feature request tackles the clipping issue
Auto Detect Peaks.

Studio One General Discussion » Write automation with FW 1884? » Go to message
Hi there, you have to keep the red REC select button held down whilst you record enable any of the tracks. You can't press it and let go and then select the particular track.

Writing fader automation is the same as any other parameter automation. Have a look in the Studio One manual for writing parameter automation, its a case of clicking the onscreen fader then look in the top left of the screen and you'll see a hand and next to it the name of the track volume, drag the hand down onto the track area and it'll add an automation track. I think there are simpler ways of doing it but off the top of my head I can't remember all the ways.
Once the automation track is added hit play and move the fader, that should work.

Hi Niles thank you for that, I'm going to try creating dedicated folders and see how I get on

I'd like the ability to invert the selection and hide the tracks. I only want to see one track, simply invert selection and hide, saves me having to click all the other tracks

Hi Niles, that sounds like a really good solution, could you create a tutorial to show us how to find and edit the XML file?
I'd like to create separate plug in folders for various hardware emulation plug ins

Hi Sammy, yes it does, but you need a user created template which i've got.
Studio One Feature Requests » Bitwig » Go to message
just been watching some Youtube videos on Bitwig.
I like the original idea of being able to drag and drop different track types onto one track.
The guy demoing the software had a midi track with a midi clip on it. He had an existing audio clip on another track, he simply dragged the audio file next to the midi clip, hey presto instant hybrid track

So it's been out for a few weeks now, anyone dug into bitwig and discovered what it's got to offer?
Studio One Feature Requests » Bigger Color Palette, Please.... » Go to message
let's make colour in studio one functional, how about the ability to filter tracks by colour. You can filter cells in Excel by colour so how about adapting the idea to work in studio one.
