Will the "delete time" function be improved, too? Because unfortunately it is currently not possible to delete time by entering a range using a popup dialog like it is in the insert time function. Thus, it is currently not possible to move markers with the delete time command.

And in addition: Not only markers have to be moved but time signature changes, too.

Stephan

I have already reported the problem in the technical support area of this forum a few weeks ago but with no reply yet:

Hi everyone,

I have the same question. There is an "insert time" command - but it does not move time signature changes. It makes the functionality hard to use in songs with multiple time signature changes.

Any chance that this will be available in a future release of S1 V2?

Studio One Forum Community Support » Problem with key command for touch automation » Go to message
Hi everyone,

I have a problem using the key command for the touch automation. The problem starts here: I have a Novation SL49 MkII controller keyboard that works perfect with S1 except the fact that no "touch" information is transferred to S1. So, the touch automation mode is not usable very well because I simply cannot keep a control pressed in order to overwrite some automation I have recorded before.

Anyhow, in the manual the "K" key is mentioned that allows you to manually simulate a touch for the current lane while pressing the "K" key on the keyboard. Unfortunately, this does not work on my system. Is this a bug in S1? Or have I misunderstood the functionality?

Any help would be great...

Stephan

I have made some additional tests, and it seems that this is a general problem with external instruments. Everytime S1 is closed completely and reopened the automation mode of all external instruments is set to "off"

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with an automation lane that controls the volume of my external workstation synth. As S1 does not support a real MIDI volume fader I read in this forum that using an automation lane and controlling the volume CC with it may be the best way.

After creating an automation lane for the volume parameter the volume was set correctly. But, everytime I reopen the project after a full shutdown of S1 the automation lane is set to "off". When I set the "read" state, save the project, close and reopen it the "read" state is still active.

Anyhow, as soon as S1 itself is closed and reopened the next time the project is loaded the automation is deactivated again. This does not happen to other automation lanes but only to this particular lane that controls a MIDI parameter of an external synth.

Any ideas what is going wrong?

Stephan

Have you tried rescanning the presets using the button in the browser's home screen?
