After perusing the Cakewalk forums Presonus Studio One is becoming persona non g rota and topics asking for info are being locked. Just shows a Great program and excellent marketing have got them nervous, keep up the great work Presonus pretty soon you'll get more business from this.

I think your last sale was the straw that broke the camels back.

twoifbysea wrote:CTstump, Reaper has the option to save undo history within the project file. Nice feature IMO.

It figures, Reaper can do about anything as far as I read, not into it though, couldn't get the feel I get with Studio One 2 when I tried it out. I guess that undo history save would be helpful.

Can definitely agree, undo should work.

not trying to be snarky, is there another host out there that saves undo history, as far as I know I haven't seen any. Usually, when you close the project and save you start from scratch with no history upon opening, it would require a lot of memory to save with the history intact. I f there is a program out there I'd like some info on it. Also no offense intended just wondering.

tyacko wrote:I kind of know what you are looking for. The older Roland VS-2480 had a female voice emulation that would alter the vocal in a way to make it sound more feminine. Melodyne is not an emulator, but will attempt to adjust the pitch (and formant) of your take. So, it will attempt to make your vocal sound and if YOU sang it at the higher pitch.

I had one of these that I used on stage, it made me chuckle a little when I read that because it was programmed to sound like Daffy Duck, the audience that we subjected it to would be thrown for a loop when they heard it, made for great laugh's at least for us on the stage.

And he'll also be doing a StudioOne seminar at Sweetwater's Gearfest Event in June.

He's definitely one of my favorite guys in the industry.

Awesome news Mr. Naqvi!

are you using the installer in the program or are you dropping them on the start page. Is it off the disks or downloaded, please give us the info on that and we may be able to help.

Also let me refer you you to Motoko' Stack hash solution to check for corrupt files: http://forumsarchive.presonus.com/posts/list/14807.page

Got it my friend, I been looking around and haven't seen any post's from the a fore mentioned MR, i think he's been banned or locked or a little embarrassed , might be the reason this argument can't go any further so need to worry, my bad on that one.

Hopefully this will end the constant question on how to circumvent the program with hack requests, I don't believe there is a precedence set because it was tolerated in earlier posts. Presonus has done an excellent job with version 2 in providing Producer so those that want VST's can use them, we don't need anymore discussion on hack's or work around's, this is in my opinion a logical move.

Have to say here here to that one, stay focused on stability, as said before other products already fill this void, I'll reiterate though if someone has good presets please upload to Preset Exchange, Thanx in advance.

MR if youre reading this please drop the pirate outlaw open source thang, get a legit producer or pro as soon as you can afford it and let's all focus on the art we have in our hearts and the techniques and skills make it sound the best it can be.

Dude by continuing this argument you may get this thread locked no offense to you, I think it was already pretty much taken care of, no need to keep throwing gas into it my friend. I think Johnny is the bigger man here by the fact of this posting and hopefully he'll get on with his usual helpful self.

*Announcer voice*: And now we return to "As the Studio One Forum Turns"...

Ok, now that was funny. My $0.02 (adjusted for inflation) ...

No offense intended to anyone in particular, but he only said out loud what I suspect some others were thinking... so sorry. If I'm an ass-wipe or a world class jerk for saying that out loud, that his comments expressed my own thoughts on that matter (they did)... feel perfectly free to call me an ass-wipe and a world class jerk directly ... it's really ok to do that ... it's the net and (trust me on this one) I won't lose any sleep at all over it.

Someone got under his skin, he lost it for a moment (it happens, even in real life) and did what we humans try not to very often do... say exactly what we really think instead of just being nice. It happens. Sometimes it's (imo, mmv) actually therapeutic to let off some steam... especially when it's not just random nonsense.

So what. Life goes on. It's wasn't exactly a fist-fight where the police had to be called.

your an ass wipe and world class jerk! you happy now, what good is holding that tittle without recognition my friend. all kidding aside great response Lmike.
