After searching the forum, I can confirm to my self that 32-bit plugins will not work in 64-bit version. Wise move from PreSonus .

If I absolutely want to have/use my 32-bit plugins (not many left by now), I can use jBridge. Maybe it's time to kiss the rest of my 32-bit plugins goodbye.............Finally .

Studio One Forum Community Support » VST's prior to version 2.4? » Go to message
It is to my belief that only Vst version from version 2.4 is supported. Am I right about this?
Not to be seen as "bashing" of any kind. Smart move actually, if so . Just good to know.

I'm not sure this is why some of my plugins won't show (in the same folder as the rest of them), or that these are 32-bit versions running in S1 2 Pro 64-bit???

Can anyone confirm some of my thought/findings?

Thanks in advance.

Same goes for me.

I have bought two instances of Studio One 2 Pro. Only one of them shows the Komplete Elements product/serial key in my account.

What's up with that?

Only one thing, it takes hours.
Not good enough by todays standard. Sorry, this can only get better.

Same thing happens on the other side of the world, in Norway.

To buy directly from PreSonus (via their partner) makes their products more expensive than to buy from my local distributor.
I know where to buy then .

But the problem is that when campaigns like the "Spooky" one, and some ugrades, are not accessible. Then we have to buy on your on-line solution at a higher price than the current currency exchange rate (between dollars and Norwegian Kroner - NOK).

Where does the currency profit go????? Just asking

Thanks.
I figured it out, but it's a bit cumbersome to what I'm used to (in Nuendo).

As we speak, I'm trying to put together a Macro that will add a layer and start a new recording pass in one go .

Thanks again.

This is a must IMO.

Are there any list on what to expect in the coming 2.5 update somewhere?
Studio One General Discussion » Record on top without loop recording? » Go to message
Is there a way to record several takes manually (without loop recording), and make them stay on top of each other. Then open them in different layers?

As far as I have found out you can't record on top of each other, then cut all takes in the same place, and then select which one to stay up front. Am I right?
If so, where did this idea came from? Totally awkward IMO (coming from Cubase/Nuendo).

Is there a fix for this in the coming?

This is why PreSonus should make an interface with 8/16 analog ins and outs. Daisy chain this interface with the SL, and then you can use this to hook up your outboard equipment.
Using the Pipeline to use these connections from within Sudio One should do it from there.

You can of corse go "crazy" and throw i some digital ins and outs as well.

Just a suggestion

No I did not connect something to the analog 2 Track input. Only tried to listen to my DAW's main out in the monitor section/bus. Will try on occasion.

Thanks. That's what I expected

But anyway, I still can't hear the firewire return on either. Strange.....hmm

761040 Fujitsu LIFEBOOK AH532 15,6" HD (matt)
Core i7-3612QM, 8GB RAM, 500GB HDD, DVD±RW, BT, W7 Pro

I've set up 2 of these in the last 3 weeks for use with one SL 16.4.2 and a SL 16.0.2, working great and not that expensive.

It has an expresscard 34 slot, in which I fitted an ExSys Expresscard controller with Texas Instruments chip-set.

Working great so far, set up with audio work in priority
16.4.2 » Firewire 2-track and monitor returns? » Go to message
We tried to arm the firewire return in both the 2 Track section and the Monitor Bus section. Set the 2Track volume knob to about 12 o'clock (I understood this controls the volume for the firewire return before it splits to their respective sections).

I guess I should have said "referred to as output 17 and 18". My bad We were obviouesly mapping them under the Output section in the WDM settings window.

One thing though:
Do you really have to arm the firewire button in the 2 Track section to "let it through" to the Monitoring Bus?

This will in that case be a bit "clumsy", as you then cannot listen to your software Main Out without sending it also to the Main Mix on the 16.4.2!!!!
Don't necessarily want that you know

Thank for answering.
