Ok I have been using the SSL native plugs for several years now but I just recently noticed something with the G compressor. All the functions seem to work correctly but the ratio seems to be backwards to the GUI. When I hit the 2:1 ratio I get really hard and super heavy compression. When I go to 4:1 well....it acts like 4:1 should. Then if I go to 10:1 it just hits the compressor nice and easy as if it were a 2:1 compression.

Well if any one is using the Waves SSL G comp native in S1 Pro give it a try and let me know if you see the same thing. Here are my specs.

OSX 10.6.5
S1 Pro 1.6.4
Waves SSL Native V.7

Macpro 2.66 Quad
12Gig Ram
Lots of HDD's
FS26X26
DigimaxFS
DigimaxLT

Are you talking about the compressor on the G channel? Sounds like it should to me, but I'm on V8.

Not the comp on the channel strip.. that works fine. Just the buss comp.
