outstanding! GOD i hope they will have it for a bit longer. the reason i jumped on the guitar stuff as opposed to the C6... i am still working on the art of mixing so to speak. i have not focused on mastering anything other than that song i did for Granicy Square and i see the C6 as a must for mastering so i want it badly... it is just not up to the front of the line yet.

and thanks for the laugh loke... don't know about a society... but i know... as an individual... i am FAR from generic.

I dunno, I don't consider myself an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but when I get something, it's because it serves a purpose FOR ME!

To my ears, the scheps provides a very specific purpose. Mostly, guitar work. Between the gain staging, the eq controls, and the "preamp" you can dial in a better/more mixable product with considerable ease. The other use I like it on is snares (and maybe hats)

My waves purchases are too many, but I love them so.

The C6 is a great mixing plug as much as mastering. For bass and piano, there is nothing better for me. The only plug i use on both.

Thanks hib, Jay & Mat for the info. The C6 I picked up. I'll hold off just a bit and pick up the Scheps shortly.

This is becoming a great place for product tech-talk, purchases, deals, and wishes.

Nice going.

http://www.meldaproduction.com/plugins/product.php?id=MAutoDynamicEq

this is one fine plug! i sold a lung for it... but looking on the bright side... that SHOULD cut my smoking in half!!!

of course i was just looking around (gonna be the death of me) and saw yesterday that Melda has their EQs for 50% off. i looked and yes the MAuto Dynamic EQ was there for 49 Euros ($66 USD (or there abouts))

i have to agree with shane... this plug is wonderful. i had been looking at it and the Brainworx one but the bx_dyn_eq is like $224. and the Melda one was NOT much cheaper... UNTIL THIS MONTH!!!

jBranam wrote:D16 Toraverb http://www.d16.pl/toraverb ... for $49 i could not help myself. i love the 3-band EQ on the early reflection and another 3-band EQ on the late. all that MAY make it a bit heavy on CPU for older machines... but with that kind of control and the simplicity of it ... you can dial in anything.
