So apparently that's functionality you (or some) are trying to enable w/o paying for. Seems pretty simple.

AFAIK Celemony and Native Instruments are not property of Presonus. So Komplete Players and Melodyne are 3rd party VST's. Free or not, they are VST plugins.

Right. And Artist specifically does not include VST support outside of what it comes with. That's one of the reasons I upgraded to Producer.

So, it really seems you feel you're entitled to something that you're not, and the discussion is really just an attempt to justify it. Not a discussion that should be happening here, for sure.

Is a discussion that shouldn't be happening in any other place. But people generally are really sensitive nowdays.

Read the EULA. Is something about it written there? Also, the "dll hack" as it's called doesn't involve changing the program code or anything that goes against the EULA. It's not the same thing as cracking the program.

But again. You must be crazy if you think you can run plugins this way and have the same funcionality as running them in Producer or Pro or even the Demo for that matter.

Oops......
Focusrite 18i20. An '1818' that actually works as advertised and has great support!! But Presonus will continue the story it was all my systems and there is no hardware issue with the 1818 and the drivers are great.

Almost two years on and Presonus continues to say it's a 'top priority' but have no driver updates, make excuses and blame others (Intel, USB3 Microsoft, Apple and now the company that writes their drivers!) when other companies have it all working on the same systems!! And it so refreshing to get regular software updates and responsive and effective support!

And the 1818 does not have 'on-board DSP' as continues to be claimed.

I don't think the format was the point there.......

Uh... no offense... but there are only 12 months in a year, not 19.

19/01/12 is January 19, 2012... 10 days ago... at least on this planet. And (again, no offense) I've never posted 1000 times on any mfg forum for software I didn't actually own... mmv on that.

Anyway, welcome to the party. Glad to have you and your experience.

I see you haven't lost your love of arguing against the obvious. The screenshot you yourself posted of your registration is formatted "Day | Month | Year" (not month/day/year) ... at least in the common earthling translation.

The actual date format there is DD/MM/YY... unless the calendar now has 19 months.

Again, welcome.

So the date says you bought it January 19th 2012 (10 days ago). Are you suggesting you bought it way before that? We all know you have Studio One Pro (cracked version) installed on your computer. You've said as much in other threads.

You know as well as we do, you bought Artist 10 days ago (so you'd be legal). Don't even try to say the Date on the site is being displayed wrong. You got caught in a lie so fess up.

You just love this kind of attention. I've already told I shouldn't reply to your posts anymore but when you flat out lie, I can't help myself.

I'm not suggesting anything. You're the one making assumptions here. Also, can you prove I have a S1 Pro cracked installation on my pc? You've said I was a troll before, so my statements are only valid when you're trying to point fingers at me?

And that makes my software a cracked software? No. Wrong date or right date, my version is original. Deal with it.

And my post you quoted was directed to you? I don't think so.

I'll grow a pair. Don't try to cast shadows using someone else's hat.

Gentlemen.... Gentlemen.

Let's allow cooler heads to prevail here.

This forum is not the place to aire out our differences in this fashion. I, of course, understand
and appreciate the passion behind this dialogue. However, we need not let the discussion
turn from the technical details of the matter at hand.

For that purpose, I am closing this topic for further debate for the time being while I take a bit of
time to research the issues brought to light here and share my findings internally.

Cheers,

Jason
