Omitting broken freeze option which I think will be fixed very soon I'm still missing:
- multichannel/multitracks presets (e.g. instrument track with Mojito generated bass routed through 3x busses/different efx saved under single preset name)
- option to bounce multiple tracks (or folder tracks) as a single steam

... these would make for great feature requests.

No way man. I HATE the Ableton interface. It looks like a toy to me.

I meant a Ableton Lives Session like view.

Although I do like its general interface too.

-Different skins or colors
-Ability to record multi track loop sessions, press space to stop, then * to resume and have all takes ready to unpack. This is really a bummer for me as we do lots of takes ( ie: guitar solos) and if I press space bar to stop, I have to move all those recordings down to another track, then start all over again, reviewing multiple takes on multiple tracks.

As 64 bit VSTs and 64 bit Rewire hosts are the thing of the future. Why would someone want the Producer version for the features you give them (VST & Rewire) if they are crippled with 32 bit only? Doesn't make sense and isn't worth the price, IMO.

All versions of Studio One can run as 64-bit applications, but only Professional has 64-bit (Double Precision) floating point audio resolution. People often confuse these two things.

Studio One Artist delivers all of the core audio and MIDI recording and editing features, plus a wealth of 32-bit effects plug-ins and virtual instruments. Unlike other “entry-level” DAWs, it imposes no limits on track count and plug-in instantiations, or editing features.

Studio One Producer includes everything in Studio One Artist and adds support for ReWire and AU/VST plug-ins, MP3 import and export, and additional third-party content.

The way this http://studioone.presonus.com/what-are-the-versions/ is worded you get 32 bit plugins.
Does this mean you have to bridge 64 bit plugins?

A step sequencer, and more improvements to Impact; like 4 pad banks and sample chop.

Little late to this party, so I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it, but:

The continuing lack of a "true insert" function, as an option to the Paste command I'd imagine. In v2 if you want to copy, say, a chorus from early in the tune to later in the tune, you still have to split at the desired insert point, grab and move all material to the right of the split back out of the way, perform the copy/paste operation where you made the split, then grab all of the material you moved over and drag it back, lining it up manually. Not exactly elegant.

What baffles me is that they DID add the "Alt+D" command (duplicate and insert), which does exactly what I've described - except that it only does the insert immediately after the copied material. So they've got the mechanics of it down, all they have to do now is allow the insert point to be random, of your choosing.

In many other ways, v2 is a very nice step up - love the new console and metering options, very nice. But until I can randomly rearrange a piece without all of the extra steps, I still have to regard S1 as a "slightly under pro" DAW. It's not keeping me from working with it - there's a lot more good than bad with it - but that one item still leaves it lagging behind slightly....

Unless it's there and I missed it, I am severely bummed I still cannot change the size of the track header to fit my track name in a small header. I have massive orchestral templates (100-200 tracks) and I prefer them to be "small" track headers. The problem is it's impossible to read the name of the track if I try to put any information in the name. Such as "Orchestral Violins 1 Detache". Instead I get "Orchestral...ache". Absolutely impossible to know what the hell that is haha.

That killed my motivation for my templates which I thought were going to be fixed in this version. I hate to go back to Logic for something so stupid but I simply lose so much time from such a little non existant option. I never realized how much it would slow me down, but when i have 127 tracks and am trying to test layering patches etc it makes it impossible to figure out what is what. Kind of bummed on this one.

I didn't expect it, but I would love to see video playback support in 64-bit in the very near future.

What is not working for you regarding jbridge? No issues here and I have used it on several workstations. Set it up once and then you can pretty much forget about it, it just works transparently behind the scenes. The developer provides support if you need assistance.
