my friend called me yesterday just to tell me the price of the producer version of S1... i finagled a christmas gift for him from my mother and sister... i got his full producer for $69 + free shipping. he told me that the producer is $399 now i think he said. WOW he is still happy at the price (although it did not cost him anything) and i know my sis and mom have no idea the value of what they got him. i got my pro version at half price a year ago... and i THOUGHT i did good (which i did) but no where as good as what i found for Dave.
the good/bad thing about being disabled and home 24/7.... i have way too much time to look for deals! lol
and gizzmo... two other 'small' guitars worth mentioning is the 3/4 dreads from Luna... i got one for my sister on her past birthday because she wants to learn to play and i loved that thing. another great small ax is the Jim Dandy by Gretsch... i almost bought one because it is identical (pretty much) to my first guitar i got when i was 10 yrs old. not played one... but from the vids... it has a great rustic sound to it.

Professional is regularly 399, but it's at half price right now, along with all crossgrades and upgrades half off. I just upgraded to Professional 3.5 weeks ago. Wish I would've waited.

You and me both, I sometimes think I would actually have money in my bank account if I was a bit more mobile lol
I get a real buzz though from snaggin' that bargain, would rather be poor and happy than rich and miserable And I cannot complain about the deal I got on S1 pro, followed by the half price Melodyne Editor. Been using Reason for years, and I will not knock it, great creative tool and much better sounds than S1 in my opinion. Studio One has now taken over as its far better for what I need., now Reason is just for grabbing synths, keyz etc. Which I stem out and import into S1. Plus the community here is far better, to much hatred there from those who think they are "leet" . So pat your self on the back guys!!!

i keep staring at my old xbox 360 and ALL the games i have for it lol... since i never mess with it anymore... might as well sell it. he wonders to himself if he can get $99 for it... hmmm
i make myself sick... lol

They have a bunch of other plugs and bundles on sale right now if anyone else feels like parting with some coin.
Completely agree! The C6 is a great deal. Hard to ignore. This is an industry standard multi compressor.
Uh-oh, my wallet is trembling.........Gotta go for this one.

i was debating the C6 and the Amp3 group buy thing. could have saved $22 on the C6 (can get it for $77) but i spent the $99 and grabbed gear for my guitars. i had about 60 pieces with IK... but now i have almost 250 pieces of gear for my guitars and bass.
the C6 is feckin nice but ... 1 item compared to what 190 items? sorry it was a no brainer. now if i did not play guitar and bass... then i would have jumped on the $77 C6...

yes you have to sign up to get to the dealz. on average they are about $10 cheaper than most anywhere... even the discount places. only a couple of hoops to go through to get set up with them... BUT saving money is saving money. i got the Scheps 73 from them for i think $82 so the discount varies. but they are legit and i got a few plugs from them.
not selling for them mind you... just posting my prices that i have found... and $77 for the C6 can't be beat.
i take it they have a little special deals with the vendors because they are TRYING to get people to quit pirating software... hence the name of the site.

I've been thinking about the Scheps. I just don't know. I try so hard to minimize over use of plugins, and I've found it to be a pretty good recipe so far. Still, some things or designs "just work". Good EQ and good compression are just so important. Avoid them at all costs, but if you have to go to them, they better be good. With that, I really like most all of S1's plugs including the ProEQ. The compressors may just be a tad light in the socks. Sill, their compressors are better than any free plugs, that's for sure.
I'm caught in the middle of old style designs, and REALLY liking the new style, where I can see the analyzer and graphic curve, frequency and bandwidth at a glance (Like ProEQ). In the end it really does come down to our ears, but when it comes to GOOD sensitive compression or EQ, I like seeing the little nuances of those changes. Just me. Maybe it's a fetish.
I've had my eye on the McDSP 6030 Ultimate Compressor. It's modeled on some serious compressors including the Fairchild. So it's quite attractive for pulling up a very nice variety of Swiss army quality compressors. That, I would have to try before I buy as it's not all that cheap.
Bottom line, will I really use it like I'd like to think I can? I guess, that's always the golden question, now isn't it?. Anyway, I bagged the C6! Wooh-Hoo!! I guess I'm an official member now of the JBranam Society of Recent (and smart!) Purchases!
