I dont get why people run Hackintoshs unless its for Logic ?? Just use Windows7 and if you want a Apple type system or afraid of internet virus then just dual boot it with linux mint or Ubuntu geez.

Because they work. I have 4 Windows laptops and one Mac and the Mac is better in the studio than any of the others. If I had a super fast Windows machine that was properly set up to do audio and had all the right chipsets and drivers I would probably use it. Or I could just buy a Mac and plug it in...

Just read the previous post. Lol. My remarks are in regard to a legal Mac.

Hmm.. i guess some of us are fortunate to have those machines.. and.. we also.. just plug them in...

Anyone with a lick of sense and a few bucks to put together a decent PC is no worse off than anyone on a Mac.... as far as I know.

I think Macs are just more dumbed down, mistake proof?.. for folks who really don't know what they're doing.

That's pretty funny!

I work with PCs all day long, day in and day out. All Windows. I have supported Windows and Mac computers in the past. I majored in computer engineering for a couple years before I switched to Information Sciences and Technology. Then I figured I may as well get a Master's degree in Information Systems while I was at it.

I know a little bit about what I'm doing.

Wait... let me add some ellipses... to make you think... about why I am using them... so much. Makes me think of Captain Kirk. Hehe.

And let me go find some other 4 month old threads to troll on...
