well i finagled and got C6 also. so i grabbed both MaxxBass and C6 for GREAT pricing with an added synth package by UVI for free (i love the old Korg M1... played it for a few years when it first came out in 1988 so i have history with that synth) only draw back is... every other friggin soul i know has gotten their serials and download links it seems but me. called my buddy dave last night to see if he had gotten his and he hadn't at first but while we were on the phone.... his frakin came in leaving me salty and bitter because HIS order was 63 orders behind mine. so i have awoke only to find mine is STILL not here and being the weekend... it may even take longer. damn it ALL to hell... lol

Picked up REDD from the Waves sale for $49. A little anolog warmth never hurt. Sounds good! Put it on drum, guitar, vocal busses.

Real time phase and time alignment. I noticed the difference immediately when I used it on an old 2' project I recently converted to digital. 2 mics on a guitar cabinet, and drum bus was the most notable differences. When I say the guitars exploded out of the speakers, it would not be an exaggeration. Same with top/bottom snare mic'ing.
My new favorite plug....until it gets replaced by my next favorite plug.
well i am spent... on the waves sale too. got the MaxxBass $29, C6 $49 (with free UVI Digital Synsations package $199) and the Aphex Vintage Aurel Exciter $44.46. spent way too much but dang i made a killing on value. two of which i probably never could have afforded. thank you Waves!

you KNOW you guys keep talking about the UAD stuff and it kills me. i used to use the EMU 0404 when i first started. still got the card but the wires were chewed off long ago... so i have no harness and it is obsolete now. i am sorry to those that want to argue but a board attached directly to the motherboard is FAR better than these plug in interfaces... although they work rather well. (don't understand why they don't have USB3 interfaces by now)
been looking at the UAD Solo for some time now but i can't justify the price which ain't really bad... not much more than a good video card... but i really want a quad and THAT is getting into high dollars for me.
