NI Komplete 9 Ultimate finally!

I bought recently Reaktor during their synth days promotion (50% off) and I was hoping that NI will offer similar promotion for crossgrade/upgrade to Komplete 9 and it didn't take long!

My RME UCX arrived this weekend. Pretty excited about it. Haven't had a chance to hook microphones up to it yet, but been recording my TR8 and ms2000 through it quite a bit. love it so far but it's gonna take a couple real sessions to wrap my head around the Total mix fx.

thinkin... i know that is dangerous... but... this ain't MY thread... this belongs to all of us... so ANYONE that gets on the new forums first... start us a new purchase thread so we can continue. i say this since it states this forum will be archived but not lost. so they won't be transferring this stuff over. but i DO want this thread... in subject... to continue. it is a great help in draining our wallets. cheers

Fear not! I'll just start the new thread with these two quotes, just to get things rollin'.

Hey, you can always sample it and start a new instrument. Call it the "Jay-Breeze"
or "Breez-a-tron"

Well I must have caught it on change over day (3 day discount cycle), So it was a no brainer really. Trouble is I have spent the money I was saving for a replacement guitar wireless system, as my old one is becoming unreliable. So its back to cables it seems.

well me being frugal and broke... i used mine too... took $50 off the MaxxBass plug and got it for $29. was looking at both the Ren Bass and the MaxxBass a few months back and i tried NOT to buy anything... but i KNEW i would hate myself for not getting the MaxxBass plug so cheaply. especially since i DO create ringtones from time to time and this psycho-acoustic thing really does work extremely well on the perceived bass put out on small speakers. and an additional plus is that it works rather well on bass guitar making it much fuller WITHOUT adding level gain.

i REALLY wanted the ADT for $49 and it is gonna kill me for a while but i will get over it. being so broke at the end of the month... i just couldn't risk spending the additional $20. but i am content... i got something i like... that WILL be useful on a lot of things... and it was dirt cheap. cheers!

P.S. and yes i demo'd the MaxxBass and the Ren Bass (which they are ALMOST identical in process) a while back so no surprises. as for the ADT... i demo'd it too and it would be great for a few things and is a pretty sweet price. but the BIG ONE everyone should look at if you ain't got it and have that $50 off code is the Scheps 73 for $49. funny it don't even bum me out that i paid $83 for mine when it first came out. it is worth what i paid and a LOT more. that price on the 73 is a STEAL!!!!!!!!!!!

Jay, C6 Multiband would have been an absolute steal at $49 also. Currently at $99.

Sorry if it sounds like I am peeing in your pool, but I have the Ren Bass, and the C6 is way better IMHO for low end instruments. Plus it can be sidechained, which neither Ren or Maxx can do.
