Made the offical jump to S1.

Well after about 5 months of thinking I made the jump from Pro Tools to S1. I have been using PT since 1997 and have always loved it but I feel like some change was good. I really hope Presonus stays with the development and focus on S1. Happy camper here.

Welcome! You are not going to loose that "happy camper" thing. Studio One is a correction to where we were going with DAWS in general. As they advertise, NO BLOAT. Just get the job done as artistically as possible and in a workflow friendly envoirnment. The folks at PreSonus have made tremendous leaps already in refining and enhancing the software. As mentioned previously, anytime you wish to reach out for advice or give your own, it is welcome on this forum, unlike some other DAW forums. We are not snotty, but we are proud as evidenced by the many forum members who post vids.

Sit back, grab the beverage of your choice and explore some of the forum...then explore Studio One. You took 5 months to entertain the prospect of migrating so you must be of "reasonable mind". (LOL)

it took me less than an hour after 3 years of cubase
I managed to do something that I've never done in cubase like for example using my keyboard controller, I mean it took me 10 minutes to use it properly.
After hundred hours of DAWing S1 never chashed, I mean NEVER.

but I believe that the most important thing is I'm creatively active, I'm making music...well at least more than before
S1 boosts the creational process of making music.period.

so I can say I love Studio one.

Many people, including myself, agree with you on this. Sometimes it's hard when I need to check out something specific we're working on, as I tend to get sucked into the creative process...it's nearly impossible to approach S1 from a utilitarian perspective.

I think you nailed it. I'm an engineer, not a musician really, but I can get "creative" on the mix front with S1 much faster than some others simply because there's less to think about. It's really made me rethink my personal need for many of the things I had available before that I felt I couldn't do without.

I can say I love it also.

I've experienced the same coming from Logic! With S1 it's real fun again making music

Just to give two examples:
1. With Logic it always bothered me that I have to navigate through several hierarchies of submenus to load a 3rd party plug-in (and when I click a little bit beneath the menu entry, the menu disappears and I have to do it all again...) . With Studio One I simply drag the plug-in in into the arrange area no time!
2. The setup of multiple outputs for an Instrument is just a few clicks away wheras in Logic you first have to set up an Multi Instrument in the Environment.

So yeah -- a huge THANKS to PreSonus for bringing back fun and productivity!

My experience is similar. Creating a bus for several tracks, creating an efx track and so on. Most likely the automation for me, was the thing that stands out, that I can now use with a full understanding. And that's not to mention setting up the controls on my controller keyboard.
