Running the smaart room analysis in basic mode is no problem. However, there are no videos (that I have seen) showing how to run the analysis in advanced mode. Specifically, when do you apply the curve movements? Is this done after each measurement, or when all three measurements have been made? Some specifics would be nice. Thank you

There may be a video on Smaart Advanced settings out there, but I have not seen it yet. The advanced settings are covered in your StudioLive Ai Software Library Reference Manual, around page 41. I've found the basic settings to produce reliable results, but I'll play with the advanced settings a bit and see if I can get anything useful to share here.

As you read (or can read) in the user manual (or when you actually perform the analysis - see attached image), the advanced wizard is an average of three measurement points, and the wizard keeps you on track by prompting exactly what to do [see image attached]. When you have completed the wizard you are then able to view an average response measurement. Because it is the product of three measurements, the trace will not adapt in real time the way the basic wizard does.

In the arena of professional sound, rarely are systems measured at one location, eq'd for there, and called 'done'. The advanced wizard offers the ability for you to have a similar workflow - where you act on the trend of a venue, not what is going on at a single point.
