What's the new forum going to be like?

Will old threads from the old forum get locked on July the 1st?

I was just given the ok to clear something up:

During the transition to the new forum, both the new and the old forums will be active simultaneously for a short period. We are not locking this forum down today - just moving it to the archive area.

We will not be moving any data over. Please plan on which conversations you wish to move / restart in the new area. The old site will be listed as an archive. I suggest once the new site is up to find the threads you were running on the archive site and link to them in new posts when the site goes live.

Will browser bookmarks or forum bookmarks still get us to the old threads?

If we all chip in, and give Presonus $63 billion dollars, can we just keep THIS forum?

The new forum sucks eggs. I hate that I have to re-enter everything I spent time entering in my profile before. I don't like the fact that the link for "Recent Topics" is gone or the others at the top of the page for that matter!

Exactly. The forum (this one) was fun. New one: sterile. Unfun. Harder to find stuff/new info.

Hey Willie

There are some buttons top right side of the new forum, including View Active Topics,
View New Posts, View Your Posts, View Unread Posts etc

But I know what you mean about though - It will take few days to get used to, but hey
Am sure this one took a few days too at first
And the profile Copy and paste is a friend there
