Router connection issues

Ok, we recently updated the software and got a new TP-link router. We set it up at home and had no issues, that we could find. Then we got to a show and our iPad will connect to the router perfectly fine, however the iPad will drop the presonus connection randomly, and when it does connect it is very slow. We've tried changing out every cable and even switched to an old router. The AI software won't seem to recognize our new router.. Any ideas what this cold be?
