Whenever I create a new track (or duplicate one), the new track is created with a HUGE height.
Before I create it, my screen show 9 tracks, but with this new track taking up almost 400 pixels in height, I only see it plus maybe one or two of the already existing ones.

I find it tiresome to always having to manually reduce the height of all tracks.

How do I set/restore the default height for when creating new tracks?

I'm not aware of any setting that determines track height. I was under the assumption that it uses the last setting. I've never experienced what you are describing. Is it just the one song that it happens, or every time you create a new song?

Just because I took the time to write a forum post about it, the problem just disappeared!

I created a new song and expanded the track already there a few fixels so that all boxes/buttons to the left fit without disappearing. Then created a new track, and voila, its size is small just as I want.

I have no idea why this didn't fix itself before - I must have tried this combo during all my testing.

Hey Elo

I think this is the one you are looking for
You just click that where it shows 'normal' on this pic and select the track size you wish it to be
