Planning to upgrade from Artist to Pro before June sale is over.
Receiving new Custom studio computer today or tomorrow.
Can't find step by step instructions on how to install S1 Pro 64 bit on new studio computer.
Original Artist is registered on 32 bit laptop.
Could someone please help.
Thanks
Randy

Hey again Randy

It will be just as it is now
If you look into your 'My Presonus' you will see there are 2 versions you can download a 32 and 64bit
When you get your new computer and ready for install and all that, you just
go in your 'My Presonus' and download the 64bit version to your new computer
Install and activate just as always

Hey Saga
Thanks again.
Will that leave the 32 bit version on my old Laptop?
I'm hoping so because you apparently only get 2 installs of Melodyne with the S1 Pro licence and I dont want to waste one on an old computer that wouldn't be able to handle it anyway. I know that my concerns would be minor to more computer literate people but the techy stuff intimidates me a bit.

You dont have to install Melodyne. Its a separate installer in your My Presonus account. So install Pro 32 bit on the old laptop, no melodyne. Install Pro 64 bit on the new PC, and install Melodyne.

That will leave you with 1 melodyne install, and 3 S1Pro installs to use later. You can also manage your S1 installs in your same My Presonus account if you decide to retire the 32 bit pc.
