Hello,

I have 2 questions about recording vocals.

!. When I open an existing song, How do I record the vocals onto a new channel while listening to the song through my headphones?
Also i want to record so that i am left with just the vocals on that channel rather than recording the song into them if that makes sense.

2. I am getting alot of fuzz and the vocals sound very low. I have turned my gain up along with the usb line in off the interface but this just amplifies the noise aswel.

Thank you,

Hey Brian

For anyone to be able to help, you will have to say what sound device you are using, what DAW, windows or iOS

Ofcourse thanks Saga

I am using presonus producer, running it with windwows and the audio interface i am using is a Behringer 302usb xenyx 5.
It does say that it has a phantom power supply but no option to turn this on or off.

Try watching this or one of the other videos listed in the suggested video list. Youtube is a great how to resource.

It may take a bit of investigation and tinkering on your part to get it to work with your specific setup.
