I'm trying to think thru my rig before I actually pull the trigger on this thing. After reading tons of posts on the topic of computers, my impression was that I would have to get a used Mac because Thunderbolt 2 won't work. Then, in response to another question, one poster said that some people had made that work, so I am hoping to get a definitive answer on it. I'd like to get a new mac if possible, rather than buying a refurb and then replacing that when Presonus releases a Thunderbolt interface.

Thanks.
