Can I connect a MIDI keyboard (Yamaha PSR E343, which only has a USB MIDI) to a PC and still use a 22VSL for vocal...and record them at the same time? Or do I need some sort of adapter to connect the USB to the old standard MIDI connection on the VSL?

I'm just not sure if the computer sees it as "one or the other" or they can coexist happily. Thanks!

To clarify...I'm asking on behalf of a friend who has a PC, 22VSL and the keyboard mentioned above.

Yes, I often use my usb midi keyboard and microphone input on my Audiobox 1818vsl at the same time as a singer songwriter tool.

Thanks for the reply. I thought I had read somewhere about having to merge/aggregate the two devices in the sound device options within Windows so that Studio One could "see" both USB devices. Maybe because they aren't technically both audio interfaces (one is data) that is irrelevant. Thanks!
