I’m having trouble using some of the preset drum loops in the Sounds Browser with mixes where I’ve either previously recorded the project in other DAWs, or even mixes I’ve created in S1 but laid the drum tracks manually in real time, without using the metronome feature. I’d like to mix some of the drum tracks I’ve created with some of the preset loops.
I’m looking for a way to import prerecorded material into Studio 1 and have the tempo sync with the S1 metronome, perhaps something in the Inspector Tool that I’ve overlooked.
Like in another thread I just answered almost heheh
If you know the bpm of the track you are importing into S1
you can import it into a track then right-click that audio
It will saw something like 'File Tempo: not set'
Double-click that and set the tempo right there for that audio file ( the original bpm )
I am thinking this should work

Thanks, man. I’ll give that a shot. The problem is, I’m trying to salvage some older material where I don’t know the precise bpm. I thought that there was a way the Inspector Tool could analyze the tempo of an imported wave file, and generate an accurate bpm, like it does with the key.
Maybe not
ah that could very well be
I am a cubase nut myself heheh So I don't really work enough with S1 to be able to tell you that
Am going to look a little into that - I don't really know to much about that
But if I find anything, I will of course post it
