I kind of expected that. Thanks for your reply. It saved me a lot of concern.

J Dent,
thanks again for your reply, but after thinking about it, I have read in several places that ampire and mp3 add ons do work with studio one 2 artist.

The mp3 converter is available from Producer and up and don't work in Artist. In Free there is a limited Ampire. Lmike's sugesstions are usually good.

I stand corrected on the Artist mp3 issue but it still don't work in Free.

Yup...I think the MP3 converter for Artist is pretty new, so no surprise if you hadn't heard about that.

Also, a reminder for newcomers: A 30 day demo of Studio One Pro is free, and is fully functional. After 30 days, it reverts to the free version. But you can still convert your files while the demo is in action. Just remember to convert your wave files, and render your audio which has any of S1 Pro's effects before the demo runs out.

* Also, you can export your wave files to Windows Media Player, and you can easily convert to MP3 there.

there is a slightly difference when converting exporting mp3 in studio one, something like 20-30 ms at the beginning of the track. So i convert my wav with Audacity or iTunes

My comment about using the main forum was more related to saying that if he owns Artist it's probably best to seek help in the main forums because many users don't help so much here here because some questions here are from people using cracks, who can't post in the other forums.

So he'd probably get more help in the main forums.

@LMike i'm using demo version and i'm helping with ALL version of Studio One, not just paid one.

try this export your song @ 32 bit and export @ mp3

bring both tracks on a new songs, you'll notice that mp3 version is slightly shifted...

I was talking to the OP, who owns Artist, and wondering why he's only asking for help in the Free forum, instead of the main forums, and letting him know that he'll get - more people helping - in the main forum.
