Adjust the height of the current track as desired (you would want it taller than non-current tracks), then enable auto track zoom. If you click the track header of another track (which makes it a current track), that track automatically inherits the desired height, and the track that was a current track (but now one of non-current tracks) shrinks automatically.

Another daw I use happens to have this, and, after using the feature for about 2 years, I've realized that I cannot live without it.
