But that's just me.

Agreed. And let's hope it's so messed up that it gets all the way to 3.0E and it's still broken. You know, that way we can keep the forum active. Seems to work for other DAW's.
But don't forget, it has to also "add tons of new feature sets" (aka, menu fillers, confusing terminology, useless synths and workflow killers) via minimum 6 click processes that can be found only in the one area it shouldn't belong. There will be noo manual (of course, it's over-rated anyway) and no tutorial videos. But it will come with another free synth "if you download today for just 19.99!!".
Of course none of it works, but that's beside the point! That's for a future update!

There'll be plenty of folks to join you when they find out that this is the final update and Melodyne and other things they said were fixed still aren't working and now they are stuck with it this way. (It's already started on their forum.)
But hey, "Kudos" to everyone for making it so awesome. You just keep listening to the man telling you how great he thinks you should think it is and keep sending them your money. Don't actually read, or think for yourself.
Btw, the PC still isn't working properly on my system*. I tried the demo which is D. I was thinking of upgrading to get the extra's, but I changed my mind. I'd rather pay more and give my money directly to the people actually writing good software.
Anyway, as always, best wishes to them.

^^^ That episode in TZ is an allegory for God. My personal take on it, anyway. I just watched it last week, actually.
In the meantime, don't think "bad" thoughts.
