Also I read the stickies in the tech support forum like a good noob (Ah yes I'm just a prenoob apparently - All that life experience counts for nothing here, I must bow and scrape to the grand presonistic wizards. But I must quell my urge to rant about a perceived "us and them" thing), and no mention was made there of no support for the free version. It would take someone 10 seconds to just add a line to that effect and point them at the free forum. Also could be a good place to mention about the registration issues that prevented some of the other posters here getting support.

Probably most regular users are familar with the boards here so don't even notice these things. Or then again.....

Actually I provide support for the free version. All my contact info is below and I hang out in the S1 free area a lot. I dis agree though on the "Us and them" thing though.

There is no bowing needed and remember, if that was the case, you'd be paying for that kind of support.

Well I wasn't being totally serious about the us and them thing It was meant in good humour so sorry if it didn't come across that way. Maybe I've been a bit jaded by experiences elsewhere. I certainly don't want to cause any bad feelings or come across as a dick. And I stand corrected on the support thing too. If that's the case then it's certainly very welcome and I'm grateful for that. Just think some things could be a bit clearer.

I got ya. I don't work for Presonus actually (though I wish I did) but I just do this on m own time. I just feel if folks could learn the free version that's one step closer to moving up. For a beginner, the free version is so powerful and you can do a pro level project very easily with it.

The FAQ and Tips sections are basically duplicates of tech support, by 90% of the threads posted.

I would be happy to post in t the tech support forum but, unlike other sub-forums here, there is no button letting me post there. Why would this be?

Ok, in the meantime, the button which lets me post in the tech support sub-forum has now appeared.

But I'm a little confused. I'm a new user of Studio One 2.5. If I have a problem, should I post it in the tech support sub-forum, or rather in in this sub-forum's 2.5 bugs list thread?
