Ok, I'm in the midst of putting together a new system and after testing S1 extensively in a variety of situations,
I put it to the test and loaded up a whole ass-whisket of plugins.....including many built in Synthedit. And the
error messages were not related to the plugins directly but the individual modules used to construct them.
It seems like Chris Kerry's and Dave Haupt's modules don't sit well with S1.

These SE plugins have loaded without problem in other systems in other hosts. I thought maybe the problem was
that this install was on an i5 and perhaps it was a multi-core issue....BUT.....they loaded just fine in other
hosts on this system.....any thoughts??

What kind of errors?

So far the only errors I had with SE were when I built a VST on the new SE which seems to have problems with (at least DH's modules) registration.

Most SE plugins simply will not load in S1 on this machine. I get a string of error messages saying the individual modules won't load. I then either have to click out of each and every error message or end S1 in Task Manager.

Are you using jbridge?

I assume you try to load them on S1 x64, is that correct?

I have no need of jBridge. This a 32 bit system as are all these plugs. And, as I stated previously, these plugs are working fine in other hosts.

Then I don't know, did you try reinstalling the MS libraries here?

http://www.microsoft.com/net/downloads

http://www.microsoft.com/en-nz/download/details.aspx?id=40784

Ambience (no SE) works fine.
Deelay / P-Deelay work.
BionicDelay
Elottronix

all these works in S1 x32bit without problem...what might be the cause on your machine then?

The MS runtime libs are all up to date but the problem persists. What I don't understand is why this ONLY happens in S1.
ALL these plugins open just fine in ALL my other hosts on this machine.

I've seen this when SSE and SSE2 instructions are not supported or must be turned on in the architecture of the CPU, a lot of developer plugins use these extensively and its possible Studio One may not be seeing them during the start up scan of your new system.

I developed a few plugins that didn't show in Studio One and narrowed it down to this problem before where they worked in other platforms but not in Studio One. Anything developed from the VST sdk 2.4 and above seem to work so there may be a strict adherence to that standard and above for those run time libraries.

If you haven't tried yet, reset your blacklist and try to scan them again and check to see whether those SSE instructions are supported by the CPU.

either way I hope you get it figured out.

Thanks CT! I had a feeling this might be SSE related as this is a pretty common cause of Synth Edit plugin problems.
Not all SE plugins are failing to load but the one's that don't are all a bit long in the tooth. So that would seem to
support your hunch. I'm going to dig in a little deeper but if I can't resolve this on this machine....not a really big deal

Hi,

do you have any news on this?
I've got the same problems with the Superwave Plugins.
Studio One 2.6.2 causes the error message posted above to show up, while other VST hosts load them without problems (VSTHost, MuLab).

I'd really love to use the Plugins in Studio One (because I bought them)!

Please help!
