I just had the same issue with trying to open a song and it just stopped at 0% when loading Melodyne. Then I had to use Task Manager to shut down S1

+ I went into options and disabled ARA and all VST support.
+ Restarted S1.
+ Tried opening the song again, and this time it worked.
+ I deleted an element that had Melodyne.
+ Closed the song.
+ Went back into options.
+ Re-enabled plugin support.
+ Restarted S1.
+ Re-opened the song with full plugin support.
+ Added a new instance of Melodyne to a new track.
+ Restarted S1.
+ Tried opening the song again, this time with no problems.

Since this question was left pretty much unanswered, hopefully this will be of help to anyone else having a similar issue.

Actually, this ~was~ answered...by you! (Thanks!) Since the root cause remains a mystery, this seems like something you might contact the Presonus tech people about. It sounds like a bug to me (and not a setup issue). Presonus might not know about it, so you might start a support ticket.

I have S1 Producer right now, and some day I hope to get Pro; so thanks for your post, as it is helpful to know about glitches that may come up, and the work-arounds.

Glad to help!

I did forget to put in my reply above that I am using S1 Pro 2.6.

To me it seems like an issue with Melodyne integration, or maybe my version of Melodyne.

Also, I should note that I am running my interface (M-Audio M-Track) with a buffer size of 256, something that Celemony specifically warn against doing due to unforeseen performance issues. Although my interface buffer size goes up to 4096, it's something I keep forgetting to change. And the last session I had in the song I couldn't open today (and had to do all the above) did indeed have said technical issues with Melodyne due to the buffer size.

It would be interesting to know if the original posters had their interface buffer size set to less than the 1024 recommended by Celemony to run Melodyne without issues - since that could well be the culprit.

Thanks.
