Hi, Don't know why the Browser does not see Sampletank VSTi on my computer. The dll file is located in the same folder where most of my other ones are and the Browser is seeing the rest of them. I have another DAW and it is able to see the Sampletank VSTi. Anyone have any ideas?

Are you running Studio One 64-bit or 32-bit?
SampleTank is 32-bit only, so it won't show up in the 64-bit version of Studio One (at least without a 3rd-party bit bridge like jBridge).

Thanks for the response Sunmachine. I am running Win7 32-bit and 32-bit S1, so there must be some other issue causing this.

Try the reset blacklist option on the prefs/vstplugins tab..

If that doesn't work, perhaps place sampletank dll in a different folder, and re point it there, I've had some weird issues with sampletank myself, but these suggestions normally fix it..
Daws: Pro Tools 11/Logic X Pro/Studio One2/Cubase7
Tools:MPC Ren/Maschine MK2/Nektar 61/Samples+Vst's
Cpu: MacOS/Pc 4.15Ghz Intel Core I7 12gb 1730mhz
Hardware: UA Apollo/Apogee Rosetta 200/DynAudio Bm5a/Sm7b/GAP73/Faderport

Note: If you don't like what's being said, you have the right to walk away chances are it wasn't intended for you anyway.

Thanks for your suggestions Trusampler. I tried both, but neither solved the issue. One thing I learned from trying the blacklist clear is that S1 is indeed seeing the Sampletank dll, as well as one from Garritan Personal Orchestra, but when S1 is restarted the scrolling list shows with a red mark next to them that they would not load. When I moved the files to a different / new folder and pointed to it, the startup scroll showing them as being rejected twice.

If the blacklist reset doesn't work, try these steps:

- First, uninstall Sampletank (You can leave the sound library alone - no need to reinstall it). Reboot.

- Right-click on the setup file/shortcut, and choose "Run as Administrator". Proceed as normal.

- When setup is done, reboot again.

I had the same problem. I guess you're not running S1 as administrator.

Jlien, thank you, this is what finally worked for me. But I'm a little confused; if my regular Windows login is already set as Administrator, why won't S1 recognize me as an Administrator when I open/run it?

Is there a way to set this automatically, without having to right-click on the .exe file every time and choosing "Login as Administrator"?

Also, thank you Jon. Right-clicking and Running as Administrator is what worked.

Hey, you're welcome.

To set a program permanently as Admin, do this:

- Right-click on shortcut/file. Click on Properties-Compatibility tab

- Near the bottom is the Privilege Level. Check the box to Run as Administrator. OK out.

That should do it!
