Not sure if this is the right forum? Will Mackie Onyx 1640i and Studio One 2 be happy together? I have a FireStudio Mobile and Studio One 2. I am considering the 1640i as a DAW controller and the occasional small live gig. I don't need a digital desk as I would just be doing 1 band for 3 sets and I can get it in the "pocket" within 2 songs. I also have 2 x 8 space racks chuck full of pro effects, gates, comps, EQs, etc.
I would not be doing more than 1 project at a time in home studio so I don't really need recall capability?

Don't see why not.....I've used the 1640i with Nuendo and it was happy as a clam.
