I am new to all of this, DAW, interface, and Presonus. I am struggling to learn the interface and the FSM. Making some progress and not getting overly frustrated by my slow progress.
I have a bilingual FW400 to 800 cable hooked to my Mini and an SM58 mic plugged into the FSM mic in 1. AKG headphones in headphone out on the FSM. The mic and phones work fine in independent testing but I hear nothing in the phones?
I have tried it independently, studio one not on. With S1 on, and with the computer sound in and out set on FireStudio and S1 set to FSM. Any thoughts?

The output needs routed back from your recording software I believe.

I use Gobbler to back up my projects.
Thanks. Could you possibly tell me how to do that? As I said I am new and I have messing with it for 2 hours or so and am rapidly approaching a frustration overload. Thanks again.
If you use the FSM standalone (without Studio One), you have to activate the "Phones" tab in the mixer window of UniversalControl.
If you are working with S1 or any other DAW, you have to define a headphone output pair in the project settings and then route your tracks to this output. The easiest way to route tracks to main *and* headphones out in parallel is to work with Cue Mixes. Look for that in the manual, it's described on different pages.
