I got one kinda cheap for use as a Monitor Feedback Tool, but it didn't seem to work well. One issue *may be* that the Aux output of the 16.4.2 is relatively low (like 18 dBV) vs. what the Sabine wants (up to 27 dBV).

Anyone else tried this - or something like it?

I've run from DBX DriveRacks without problems.

It should still be able to run at a lower level.

I use a DBX PA+ off the main output - splits to a sub + high - it does run fine ... but it also has a switch in the back to help set the gain structure.

With the Sabine - there is no selection, and i can't get the level lights to move unless everything is really hot on the SL.

I'm not using the main output - but rather an AUX to use this for the Monitors ... I'll try maxing out the AUX and see how hot I can get - sure don't want to put another gizmo in there just to boost a bit of gain.

MAYBE it's not the SL output voltage being on the low end of the FBX ... but the lights on the Sabine don't move much and I seem to get a resonance sound - def' not as clean as I would have guessed ... or need.

They work, but they take to long to lock on to the signal - and this is when the ONLY signal is the feedback. Your best bet is to use the parametric and graphic on the aux, and get a smart phone/touchpad program such as FFT to accurately identify the frequencies for you.
