i demo'd valhalla and i liked them... the vintage and the room... and i see they are only $50 so i might grab one next month... probably room... then get vintage later. but i usually have a rule of thumb... no paying full price! because as soon as i do... then they have a sale.

CSR stands up with the best of them. I picked up Valhalla a couple weeks ago and its good but not better. Picked up the Magnetics bundle. This I really like. For the price its well worth it. Mixbus was another recent purchase.
I've been redoing my studio. New desk, monitor stands and a new leather couch and chair for a start. Oh and I picked up one of those Xbox things. Two new Rode mics, NT1 and a NT1a. Almost forgot the 50 inch TV on the wall.
I hate this thread. It reminds me how much money I spent.

I too updated to Melodyne Editor.
And...
In addition to getting Izotope Alloy, I got the bundle with Izotope Ozone 5.

My temporary band-aid (cure) for GAS is that I have to "learn" (both above) and read the purchased products manuals before buying more.
I love the presets in Ozone 5 but I need to learn how to adjust the individual components better... they are very inter-twinned.

I've been playing acoustic guitar pretty much exclusively forever, but recently got a wild hair up me bum and decided I want to start recording and creating more than just playing. So I got:

-AudioBox USB
-Studio One Artist that came with the above
-Boss RV-5 reverb pedal (makes the acoustic do some nifty things!)
-More instrument cables than I ever thought I'd need

So far, I'm having a fair bit o' fun. And most of the questions I've had about the software were already answered on these forums, so...hooray, search function!

J37 Tape and C6 are calling my name. I downloaded the J37 demo. I have Kramer tape and Magnetics. What's another $129 bucks? The IK Multiband works great but everyone brags up the C6. Its just another $89 bucks.
We need another thread for all the addicts. The IK plug ins, and the Magnetics bundle have been some of my best purchases.

for tape sims... this is a good one by my standards and it is cheap (of course i got it on a sale... remember... "No paying FULL price!") the Roundtone by SKnote. http://sknote.it/Roundtone.htm

i reckon i am like people and their comps... i can't have enough of the tape emulators. i have the Magnetic II and i love it too and would LOVE to add the Kramer and the J37 to my stock.
