Could you supply us with some details. When does it crash, what plugins do you use ? How often does it crash ? Are there crash dumps, that you can send us ?

This mix engine has not changed, but we have switched to a new compiler on the Mac, which should improve performance. Could you supply us with some details ? What is the audio interface that you use ?
What is the buffer size ?
Which plugins do you use ?

Thanks

Thanks to everyone involved in getting this update out, and thanks for the Apogee One fix. All working fine at the moment.

• Added two new track heights: Overview and Minimal (these make tracks very slender so you can see more tracks at once)

• Performance meter adds RAM usage display (in 32-bit version)

Next and Previous Track commands added to FaderPort (shift + left/right channel buttons)

• Keyboard shortcut for “Remove Track and Instrument” didn’t work

These are SUCH SUCH SUCH a big deal for me. Especially the remove track & instrument button working. OH GOD... I never commented on it but this caused me a good 20 min headache tryign to get it to work before. I wanted to have that keystroke on my Novation board, n just couldn't get it to work. This will save me SOOO much time while creating... and just goes to show that Presonus is really on it when it comes to the updates & fixes. I'm sure someone made them aware of this without me knowing.. and they really do eventually address everything.

These + Macros = a great production night for me tonight!!!

edit: ah. just found that brand new macro toolbar, and the help pdf of it, its a good start. Gotta love all the hidden toolbars, great way to make it easy and simple for the eyes.

May be brain dead today but I can't find either the Macro Toolbar or the PDF. How do you show the toolbar and where is the PDF ???

Bothers me a little that you have to download anything in the update from Exchange. I would rather it be included in the actual update from Presonus..... I just dont want the process to become so convoluted (like Sonar X1 is right now.....pain in the @#$!

With that said....I am GLAD to have the feature. Can't wait to map all the buttons on my vs700c controller! Awesome.

Stupid question: Do I need to uninstall 2.0.4 first or does the installer just update the files?

They (software companies) really can't win can they?

Include things that some don't want in the installer and it's bloat. Make optional stuff available to download for those who want to use it and it's a hassle.

It's always a full Install with S1, never any update patching. Just install 2.0.5.

Very excited with this too. Just got macro button/toolbar working, & it looks awesome! Plenty of tweaking to one's pleasure here. Just got to work out the CC control stuff - shouldn't be too hard.

Also, tabbing back & forth through audio is now working fine. That will smooh out my work flow.

Great update, for a great sequencer. My album is shaping up very nicely, thankyou Presonus team.
