Load a preset into a channel. Save
Load a different preset into a different channel. Save

Select the first channel again.

How do i get the Preset Info to show me what was already saved in the first Channel?

I think the reason you haven't received any replies for this question is because it doesn't make sense.

First, when you load a preset, you don't have to save it unless you make some changes.
The only way to "see" a preset is to load it.

Try this. Select Channel 1.
Change the Set the High Pass filter to 70 Hz
Turn on the Compressor and set it to 3:1 Soft Knee On
Turn all the buttons on in the EQ section and twist some dials so it's not set to flat any more.

Press the Save Button
Scroll to an open position and give it a name. (How to do this is all in the manual)
Press store.

Now select a different channel.
Scroll to the preset you just saved and press recall.
You should see all of the parameters on the mixer change to reflect your preset.

Oh I ".... see all of the parameters on the mixer change to reflect your preset" ... but I meant "see" the title in the master control window.

Try again: Let's say I make a few tweaks and rename this as P52: Mike's Kick. I then load a different preset into another channel. It would be real nice if, later on when I re-selected that first channel & again hit the Load button if the LCD read P52: Mike's Kick ... maybe with an asterisk if the Fat Channel was not exactly as I had saved it. Changing the encoder, LCD to change to find an alternative preset to recall.

Maybe that's asking too much.

I knew I must have been missing something. Sorry for the lame response.
You are correct. You cannot do that. Once you load (or drop in VSL) a preset, there is no way of knowing what was loaded. Similarly, once a scene is loaded, there is nothing to indicate which one was loaded either.

I usually label my channels first (with board tape on the board and scribble strips in VSL ) and then go through and load the presets.

I have often felt a need for this too. It was discussed befor with many people just saying "it doesn't matter, just use your ears". But, so etimes, I would like o know what preset I loaded to give me that sound, or, A/B ing between previous saved settings, Or, even going back to the bass channel, and seeing what s loaded.

Ok, maybe the way I,wrote this doesn't make sense, but, I do agree it would be nice to see the current preset name.
