The Synth Session download is about 1.8Gb and my Firefox quit after 200Mb. Is it possible to use a program like FileZilla that will resume an interrupted download? How would I point the Filezilla to the right location?

And, for the record, what do you do with the downloaded files? Is it a self-extracting .exe?

Cheers, Graeme.

Nope, not an executable. These are sound sets, S1s own sound bank format. You can either drag and drop the files on to the start pages. this will copy them to your user data directory, or you can put them there manually, or you can put them in a folder on your drive and add the path to that folder in your location options in S1.

Thanks guys but... how do the download manager software get around the log/in my sofftware process? How do I navigate to where the download is? I can't see an FTP site on Presonus.

Sorry I'm a bit thick on this.

Opera has a built in download manager as does Safari. I believe both can resume downloads as well. FireFox really should not be quitting after 200MB.

Try either of those other two browsers and see how you get on. I personally have downloaded all the recent soundsets through Opera and many other large files though Safari. Both browsers have no issues with downloads here.

You should be able to simply browse to your account area and download the files you want straight through either of those browsers.

Thanks guys, after a second attempt and holding my breath for 14 hours Firefox did it (my temporary network connection while I paint the studio is soooo slow). So all is good.

Cheers, Graeme.
