Not sure if we will see anything dramatic. Could be wrong (and I hope so) but at least in my memory Summer NAMMs were never big for major announcements. Seems like everyone saves it up for January in L.A.

We'll see.

I don't think it's a matter of being spoiled really. I just think for many of us we took a chance on Presonus, many of us left our favorite daws to come here. Some of us went back to them...

Development takes time, but it's funny when I'm producing a track n I get to one of those, "ah man it doesn't do that"? moments, the paitiently waiting thing goes out the door.

There's no question that S1 is a hell of a daw, but it's missing alot of the bread n butter for us midi guys.

If Summer Namm didn't pack a point release,or a major release for Midi, I'd be bummed. It's really about that time for more advanced midi options.

Just curious what's the importance of an arp or a step sequencer when there are a gazillion other options out there for this sort of thing? Has this been actually mentioned as a major feature request? Sorry I've not been around much..

I vote for an 8 or 16 channel control surface. A FaderPort with 16 channels would be awesome, especial if it could pull track names from S1 and display them on the fader channels.

If you watched them record that album a week or so ago they were playing with an ADL 700. May be a hardware announcement...

I would assume that with new boards coming to market by Mackie, Behringer and Line 6, this would be the best time for Presonus to pre-empt those attempts to take away market share with a new board, no?

I'm assuming there'll be a 2.0.6 soon, mainly to fix the rewire and EQ bugs in 2.0.5?
It's too soon for a major uodate to include proper MIDI functionality (external module patch browsing, auditioning and selection, larger PRV) as I think this could involve some heavy lifting code-wise. But I'm no expert - maybe it's not so difficult.

So no one thinks the discounts we've seen on StudioLive boards recently means they are looking at a new hardware release?
