The Macro Toolbar is a new Extension available in the Exchange that allows powerful customized workflow within Studio One. With this feature, you can create macros that string together multiple commands to form a single action. Groups and buttons can be freely added to the Macro Toolbar for existing commands, making it possible to bring what is important to your personal workflow to the surface. You also can map buttons on a MIDI controller to trigger macros, even when using control surfaces that are not natively supported.

Download and install from the Exchange Servers tab in the Studio One Browser, or visit http://studioone.presonus.com/exchange/ and download this cool new Extension today!

This Extension isn't working in 64 bit S1 on OSX.

I had to download it via Exchange Server in 32 bit S1 as the Install button was dimmed out in 64 bit.

Seems to be activated fine in 32 bit.

But in 64bit, the Extensions Box shows up with warning triangle and when hovering over it displays an error message that Says 'Studio One Macro Toolbar is not compatible with Studio One!'.

I completely forgot to mention that, sorry! An updated version should be coming soon to make it work in OSX x64.

Great got it working and their in XML even better because you can edit them in note pad with *.studioonemacro prefix, a nice way to do offline edits. Great work guys.

Just did a small Script in notepad+ for adding 5 mono channel and 2 stereo channels, open Studio One, opened Macro panel, found Macro button , Pushed and scrolled to script and hot dog it works my friends.

Once again thanks for adding this feature.

I have created a LOOP&PLAY macro and it's working like SHIFT+G command on cubase. when you select an event, it will activate the loop+ loop selected and play from loop start. You can also assign any key command as im an old cubase user I assigned SHIFT+G. I don't know where to share it but you can download it from attachment. Please let me know your feedbacks

simply copy this file to your macros folder in your S1 project folder. not sure if key command works just assign a key command.

Installation
The Studio One Macro Toolbar Extension must first be downloaded from the Exchange, and then installed. If your Studio One computer is online, navigate to the Exchange in the Browser on the Song page, find the Studio One Macro Toolbar listing and click on Install. If your Studio One computer is not online, visit http://studioone.presonus.com/exchange/ and download the extension, then bring it to your Studio One computer and drag the extension onto the Start page of Studio One to install.

Once you have installed it you will see a small icon on toolbar. click it and then click to icon that you will see under EDIT text on edit panel. click to help to read pdf file.

In your help section in Studio One is a PDF that gives a pretty good tutorial for starters and there is a HTML doc in your Presonus folder with all the actions listed.

edit: What emrahcelik said is good advice my friend.
