Have a question regarding the talkback feature on the monitor station. I was looking to find out if the talkback was only outputed through the internal headphone amp, or is it a feature tied to the cue mix? I run mobile recording through an FST, and monitoring through an HP4 currently. I use a 50' snake into the live room/area, so I would need to connect to the HP4 through the balanced outs on the FST. Not interested in buying 50' x 4 of headphone extentions to use the monitor station headphone amp.

If I run my separate mixes into the Monitor station, will I have taklback fed out to the HP4?

The Int/Ext Talk Back mic runs to the CUE bus and the 4 x head phone buses.
In a studo enviroment the 4 x P/H amps are redundant, except for the engineer to use.

I run the cue output to a 2nd seperate H/P amp (AUX Input) in the studio, with the mix running into the main H/P amp inputs.

Hope that helps.
