Studio live 16.0.2 no input audio

Same here. My 16.0.2 has no input sound.
Update: Only inputs 13/14 and 15/16 are ok.

Update 2: Powering of the mixer for a short time, 10sec, and the problem appeared. Switching of for about 2-3 minutes, the problem disappears! My iMac is not connected (same connected).

This happened to me many times within a year of purchassing the mixer.
I sent it to be serviced and after a while it strarted to happen again.
I wasnt able to recover after the last instance.
Presonus replaced the main circuit board and all is well (so far, still not convinced it's reliable)

I've replaced the mixer and the new one had a big noise on talkback. Returned the device to dealer and after repair, the Presonus authorized service point replaced the talkback PCB and made a modification on earthing the FW (whatever it means) and since than all works fine.

I just had this issue happen to me today. I was recording a band, everything fine with all my channels (except channels 10-12 xlr inputs have had an issue with protools where it would not have input volume, only on the mono trs jacks)

now only the input on channel 13/14 works. the board IS NOT CONNECTED to the computer firewire. this should be working all channels.
do I need to have it serviced? haven't had this board more than a year, bought it new.

i turned it off for about 30mins to take lunch. came back unplugged everything that was plugged into the board before i turned it back on.
everything works again.

Happened to me a few times before but panicked just now as I had a big power cut to the whole building I am living in and none of the inputs were working. After one hour of power down everything was ok.

Just wondering... is this modification recommended? The thought of using the Presonus live is kinda scary to me now...

Hey guys, I see this is a common problem. My inputs stop working last night after I record a song on Studio One Pro. I had done everything is suggest here and still no input.

I re installed UC, did a factory reset, check the cables but none of the input are picking any sound. HELP!!!!

Same thing happened to mine. Had to send it back to Lafayette. They replaced DSP board and now the inputs work fine - only problem is it came back with no audible output audio from main, monitor or headphones!

Found a temporary workaround by firewire linking it to a Firestudio Project and using its audio outputs.

trockman, I be really mad if I have to send mine for repair and came with other problems.

Today I turn it on back again and it worked fine for about two hours. I turn it off and on about an hour later and the problem came back.

I feel really frustrated especially after investing more than $2000 in Presonus equipment and software.

Well I'm definitely not happy especially as they just asked me to send it back again and the only reason I was able to send it back last time was that I was out of the country for 3 weeks and not using it. Now I have studio clients and can't send it back again. And they don't have a loaner program.

Looks like I'll have to scrap it and get a brand that is more reliable as with my workaround I no longer have monitor reverb available as the returns go to the outputs which are not working. Pity because when it works it's a very nice board.

Well, I'm happy now - Presonus really went the extra mile and got me a new unit that is fully working

I am having the same issue...Tried everything under the sun from the forums. I want to take a hammer to the thing--I wonder what the cost will be to have the DSP board replaced or whatever needs to be done to fix it.

I am having the exact same issue. I own a small music venue and use this as my board for everything. It has been a real pain because the unit works fine as long as I don't try to use Universal Control so I can use the iPad and since the board is located at the side of the stage it makes it extremely difficult to mix front of house without the iPad. If I end up having to send it in for repairs then I will have a new host of issues because I don't have a backup board for the venue. It seems to me though that is has to be a software or driver issue because the mixer still works great as long as I don't turn on my Mac in my rack and try to use Capture and Universal Control. I really need help. I have recommended this unit to every band that asks about it and now I'm not so sure because it seems there isn't a true solution to a seemingly typical issue.

You should have started your own thread to really get responses, your issue is not exactly the same as the others in this thread.

That said, you are a good candidate for the firewire ID trick. because your board works great standalone, you are probably having trouble connecting to a computer. First be sure you have optimized your computer for audio following the guide in the knowledge base. If it still doesn't work, try changing the firewireID as stated in the thread below
