Hello, is it possible to make following configuration:

Recording >> 2x Digimax D8 >> Lightpipe >> Imac >> Cubase.
External Effects >> 2x Digimax FS >> Lightpipe >> Imac >> Cubase >> Lightpipe >> Digimax FS >> External Effects.

So what i mean is i just use the 2x D8 for Recording.
And the 2 Digimax FS for insert my External Effects in Cubase.

Greetings.

Sure, you can use the Digimax FS units as your I/O to record tracks and to output to and re-record from external effects units, BUT you'll need an actual interface to connect the Digimax units to. If you want to use both Digimax units, you'll need something with 2 ADAT inputs and 2 ADAT outputs, like the discontinued FireStudio 2626, the RME Fireface 800 or Fireface UFX, or several other options from other brands.

that would be the lightpipe......

it is discontinued, but if Amaya has one.

It should be possible - you can hook D8s to the lightpipe the same way as an FS as far as I can see.

Oh, by "lightpipe" were you talking about the Firestudio Lightpipe? That makes more sense. Lightpipe is a general term for fiber optic cable, so I wasn't quite clear on what you meant. Yep, Markus is right, they hook up the same way as far as the preamps go; they just don't have DAC outputs like the FS.

Yes - Firestudio Lightpipe.

The Digimax FS has DAC - so it can be used for external effects. The Digimax D8s are only for the inputs. That's exactly what you were planing Amaya - so I'd give it a try.

That's ideal, but you could also do this:

Designate one D8 as the master, and set the Firestudio to clock from it via the ADAT cable. Then, take 1 BNC cable from the word clock out of the Firestudio to the word clock in of the 2nd D8. Now the 2nd D8 is clocked from the Firestudio, which is clocked from the first D8. Once you connect the ADAT outputs of the Firestudio to the ADAT inputs of the Digimax FS units and set them to external sync, they should receive clock from the Firestudio.

Hope that helps!
