Waves did it to me again. C6 multiband on sale for $89 (reg $250). Had to do it.

They have a bunch of other plugs and bundles on sale right now if anyone else feels like parting with some coin.

Do also used items count?

I just purchased a Roland Octa-Capture audio interface for a great price.
Testing it now extensively if or not to replace my PreSonus AudioBox 44VSL with it.
So far I'm quite satisfied, with only a few small drawbacks.

A few months ago I grabbed an SPL 2Control monitor controller, also for a great price.
Very high quality.

As for software, I purchased quite a lot in the past few months:

Waves CLA Signature, H-Delay and LoAir, IKM Total Studio 3, Melodyne Editor, Nomad Factory MAGMA...

Oh, and I just participated in the IKM group buy by buying an iRig HD, which I will get rid of later

yeah that is why i got the Musician 2 bundle...even after i was spent. it goes for i think $160 even now at other online shops but waves has it for $69... the place i got Alloy 2 had Maxx Bass for $41 while i was waiting on my funds. they dropped the single maxx bass from the specials but added the musician 2 for $51 so i jumped on it... it don't have the RBass (which is basically the Maxx Bass plug) but had a few of the R plugs and people really LOVE the Renaissance plugins.

i will check out Amplitube.... i have a few great amps from them.

I've been using the Panorama for months now. It works great with S1 without the full integration. I would imagine the LX61 would work the same being that it has the same basic functions as the Panorama. Can't be a the price. I like the Alesis controller but I'm not too sure how I would like a controller without faders.

The C6 is just so damned smooth, and $89 from $250 was too good to pass up.

In the Ren Bundle, I use the IR Reverb (seems less grainy than Open Air, but OA has more fine tuning capabilities that I haven't explored fully), and the Ren Reverb is nice too. The de-esser is very good, and the Ren Bass is a good plug too. I don't use the eq too much, as I prefer the sidechain in ProEq, and also like the visual feedback in ProEq better. I think I picked that bundle up last year for $150 iirc.

i love the de-esser in Alloy 2... used it on the tune i am working and i did not notice a change on anything except the S is cleaner and no sizzles.

still looking for a go-to reverb. i REALLY like the Redline Reverb by 112db but it is too rich for my blood ($149) for a single plug. i still use the old Wizooverb (obsolete) that a friend gave me. http://www.kvraudio.com/product/wizooverb-w2-by-wizoo if i am not mistaken... it was the first to use impulse responses. i demo'd redline and was impressed... hope the price will come down in the future.

i use OA on the post but NEVER exceed 13% on the mix... most of the time it is more like 6-7%... very slight and almost undetectable. i kinda use it like people use a very slight comp to 'glue' things into one. i use the comp to glue but i also use AR very slightly to enhance the same gluing process.

A lot of people swear by Valhallaroom Reverb. I tried it out. Liked it, but I had just bought the Ren Bundle and any difference in the plugs didn't warrant the cost. Vahalla runs about $50.
