It would be really great if we will be able to post inline images instead of adding them as attachments (or to have to upload them elsewhere).

Have you seen the Delete Me thread? There are inline images all over the place. You just have to have the image online somewhere else.

Yes, I am aware of that and I do it all the time, too. That's what I meant with "have to upload them elsewhere".
What I'd like the see is the ability to upload an image directly to the forum and have it displayed as an inline image instead of an attachment that the reader has to download first to see it in its full extent.
That way you don't need to upload it elsewhere and then copy the link into your post. It's more convenient for the poster. Also with external images there's the problem that it might become unavailable in the future and thus rendering the post useless in the worst case.

Roger.

On another note, what's the fate of the Delete Me thread when the new forum is released? Are they migrating all the posts? Lol

They will be in BIG trouble if they don't migrate one of the hottest topics ever!
It's currently number three but will be number two soon...!

The Delete me thread is far too important to leave behind.
Plus.... It's Bacon... It goes with everything!

But perhaps it should be in a section that does not require me to purchase something to participate. Id say move it to the live sound section, or something similar.
Just my
Looking forward to the new set up.

No!!! Delete Me can't lose DB!!!!!!!

Edit: I've always thought there should just be a General -> General category just for threads like Delete Me...

Ahh geez... I finally figured it out!

Am I the only one who had TWO different PreSonus accounts?

I use account #1) to access my software and account 2) to access the the forum.
For the last 2 days, I couldn't "Reply" or "Start a New Topic" because of the change in Forum policy (unbeknownst to me).
I had no idea that my software account would work here too... duh!

What's weird is that if I logged in with account 2, it showed me as "Logged in" yet with no ability to "Reply".

So the answer is... use account # 1 for both the forum and to access my software now!

P.S. Oh yeah and I also lost my "post counts"... I know have 2 where the other account had about 122.

I also have 2 accounts (#1&2) but the change didn't surprise me 'cause I found this thread earlier. And, because I wanted to keep my post counts and avatar, I changed my username of #2 to something else first, then changed the username of #1 to the one I'd been using with #2, and it worked!!

Oh, I also used two different email addresses for the accounts, and changed them the same way. Maybe that's why it worked?

Oh man.... that hurts just to think about it.
I used the same email for both. I first registered for the Forum to check out S1Pv1 then had to register differently for the software.
