Hope that helps.

P.S. If anyone needs a good free XML editor, try this one... http://www.yaldex.com/Free_JavaScript_Editor.htm

Thank's Lmike,

I have the Buttons already set and labeled, also I have two buttons for Next and Previous with arrow Icons for both all in a single group on the Macro bar.

When I get finnished I was planning on uploading this Complex macro so that others can use it if need be along with the script to add it to the command bar.

What's got me held up is this Scene action, If I get it figured I think it will be a nice asset to switch views in the Tracks and Console and recall previous views.

I'm holding out hope I can solve this with the help of all you great people.

Here's what I do
Set Scene 1 as All instruments - this scene has every track
Next one is just guitars
Next one is just drums
Next one is backing vocalx
Next one is Any other instrumentation

Its imperative that all instruments is the first scene

Unless memory fails me, the 5 track scenes (the 5 numbered buttons already assigned) are part of the default macro toolbar install aren't they? Or maybe not... but I thought they were.

Oh, be aware of the fact that newly created channels are added to ALL scenes.
Don't know if this is also true for Track Scenes, though. Maybe this (confusing) behavior is confusing you?
Hope this will be changed soon!

That's got it, it works just that way, strange how I could get stuck on that even though I tried it before it didn't work, but it does work so there you go,

Your memory is correct however I've added a couple more buttons to both groups Console/Tracks Previous and next. Now that I got this figured out a little better I will probably dig a little more deeper until I'm satisfied.

Thank's again my friend.

CTstump try setting up your keyboard shortcuts like this
For the Console Scenes
Next Scene Ctrl Numpad +
Previous Scene Ctrl Numpad -
Select Scene 1-5 Alt 1-5

If you are using the track scenes then map these keys
Next Scene Ctrl Alt Numpad +
Previous Scene Ctrl Alt Numpad -

Thank's dawstew, I'm trying to get away from the keyboard and customixing the Macro bar. I'm a lazy "Do as much with Mouse as possible" kinda guy.

It's all those years with Sonar and it's myriad of buttons got this 'Ol dog trained that way my friend.

The irony is that i'm trying to get away from the mouse as much as possible. I've bought one of those gaming mice that has multiple assignable buttons and i've mapped the modifier keys to it but i still use the keyboard. Its where i feel safe
