Hello,

Drag and drop audio from the Arrange Window to a 3rd Party Sampler Plugin would be awesome.

If this is technically impossible probably add the feature to the pool ?
An Audio-Region in the pool seams to have the reference the to the real file since it offers the right click option:
"Show in Finder"

I hope V3 is more focused on Midi.

I hope for Step-Input in Piano-Roll, a drumeditor or better a Stepsequencer and an Arpeggiator, Midiplugins and a SysEx-Modus.

Visual feedback to Strip Silence function, so that you know what you get by clicking apply (like in Logic for eg.)

to add to that an easier way to see how much of a percentage the silence gets stripped. it should be more obvious how much will get stripped. it would also be nice to have smaller artifacts showed on the waveform seperate from the wave form below or above it to show you how clean the signal is if thats possible.

My "request one" is more control over MIDI randomization/humanization.

Let me randomize velocity without affecting timing.

Let me randomize timing without affecting velocity.

Give me more than two levels of humanization, percentage control would be ideal.

That's the one thing that really bothers me about Studio One. Everything else is just right, but the simplistic cookie cutter Humanize stuff maddens me to no end.

I agree this is SOOOO important for the future of the DAW. I'm hoping to make S1 my only DAW to use and this would be a big step for bringing parity to the other DAWs for MIDI Editing. The other big players all have detailed MIDI Transformers that are essential - It was great to see the Legato feature enabled in 2.5 though..

Velocity Fade In and Fade Out via Region parameters would be a big plus too(see Cubase for this...).

It would be really nice to have more flexible and customizable mixer:
The ability to change the height of individual mixer channels and all mixer channels (just like in the inspector).
The ability to change the view of pan and send knobs between horisontal line and circular knobs. For me circular knobs are much more useful because horisontal movements are not so natural for human hand. Also it will be nice to have a dual-panner as an option.
Expandeble sends. Let other sends be small, maybe smaller than now with thiner level and pan lines, but you can expand one (ore a number) of them and see the big nice knob of send level and send pan, button of pre- and postfader send, ande toggle linking of send pan and channel pan.
Ctrl (cmd ) click on the channel "fx on/off" button causes on/off for all inserts in mixer. Also in would be great to have the same button for sends.
An option to bypass (not on/off) plugin without opening its interface. Maybe using modificator-click on it in mixer/inspector
Also it's nice to see the bypass state of the plugin without opening its interface - for example coloring plugin name gray.

And a couple feauters not about mixer:
I really need mono buses (for true mono reverb for example) and the ability to record mono track from my synth out or another channel or bus.
It will be very nice to see all mu buses in main song window, not only in mixer. Now I can't draw the automation right into main window, i have to go in mixer, find this bus and create the autimation. Also I cant write the autimation on the existing automation line using my faderport in main window. I have to go to the mixer again and choose this bus. Bus and its automation line are not linked.
And another one small thing about your very nice transform tool. It will be very nice to have a key-modificator (shift I think ) to do more precise vertical edits

especially if you wanna make quick drums or glitch up some easy drum samples you can make in a few seconds.

This could be great, and I know the utility of patterns (I'm a long-time FL Studio user) but I've done a step over this problem using Impact, because I use piano roll keys as a loop/pattern system (as a FL Studio pattern) and I can manage parameters as velocity or other things without problems .
In every case, this could be a great addition but I'm feeling good the same with the actual piano roll.
