Thomas, quite an impressive list for 2.0.3! It seems the Melodyne issues are being worked out for most.

This is just positively humming on my rig!

Thanks!

add: Audio quantize and transient detection only applied to event range
Doesn't seem to work for me on an audio loop.

If I select a range with the range tool, the "Analyze" button is grayed out.....Maybe I am doing it incorrectly?

TW

The range of an event must means the event (clip). Not a range as in range selection.
It now detect for a given event within the track, and not the whole track.
If you split an event in the area you want to work it then becomes a new event and just detects that area. It does however set the entire event to show bend markers, so that seems to be a small bug.

UPDATE: oops if you go on to detect a second part of a split event, it moves the detection to the new part and remove it form the old part.
That does not seem correct. still testing...molre later....

It does seem to do the range selection now.

If you draw a selection range over a portion of audio (for example) and hit Quantize, it splits and bounces the selection range and only quantizes the area under the selection.

Hmmm never thought to try it that way.
Confirmed yes it does the split then quantize as one action. Interesting... that may or may not be what people want to do.

It still has the issue as mention in the other thread. Working on another section causes the bend markers to shift to the new section.

Now also seeing weirdness in the Bounce selection. If I split a part of a loop out then bounce it to try to break the link to the old loop, the entire loop gets bounced and the original split is gone.

UPDATE: Definitely seeing ranges that are not equal to the selection being bounced. Can someone else please confirm that?

UPDATE 2: The issue is related to snap being on or off. (Off = OK on = different range gets bounced)

UPDATE 3: Submitted a bug report to Presonus, with video of the new issues.

Ok I tested, and the problem with high latency plugins inserted as event fx is still not fixed. I tested with Z-Noise (786ms)

The problem with setting track delay in the inspector when there is an event fx added on the track seems to be fixed, but if the plugin used is with high latency, as z-noise is, the track gets out of sync

"fix: Track list mixer Hide/Show not synced when mixer is closed"
this is fixed yes, but when I originally submitted the ticked I forgot to mention that when you have tracks in a folder and the folder is collapsed, if you try and hide the folder in the track list when it's collapsed the tracks don't hide in the mixer although they are marked as hidden in the track list

"add: Command for inserting bend markers (Alt+Insert)"
I love this , but tab to transient does not take notice of the threshold setting, actually I think you can't even set it if the track is not analyzed, it has it's own fixed threshold it seems, if you analyze the track it tabs more precise, but analyzing it kills the point for tabing and manually adding with key command

also there should be some sort of visual feedback when you set the threshold like in cubase

Here are a few bonus bugs that were fixed but not mentioned.

You can now define a loop within Melodyne and it will be followed by S1. (Previously the loop could only be set in S1 but not in Melodyne)

The ("Obscure" report by three of us) MIDI drag bug that produced a .MID file with events 100,000+ measure out seems to have gone away.

Nice release. Seems to have fixed one issue I was having with melodyne tracks being out of sync.

However, I still have a problem I reported earlier (ticket 58340) as described below:

It seems I have a problem with S1V2 & Melodyne (editor). I created a tempo map using melodyne to extract tempo from a drum track and everything worked out well. I went in and manually cleaned up the tempo map in the tempo track etc.. and got it as close as I could.
OK, so now I'm working on a different track - a rhythm guitar track, and I choose ctrl-M to bring up the medodyne editor.... no luck S1V2 just hangs, the editor never even appears and I see memory usage in the task manager just go up and up over time (over five-ten minutes). I end up killing S1 in task manager. .... 100% reproducible on my machine with this song (I have not tried this in other songs).
NOW, I go to the tempo track and delete all the entries there (going back to a fixed temp). I go back to the guitar track and I can successfully load it in the melodyne editor w/ ctrl-M. Again 100% reproducible on my machine with this song.

I have not tested your scenario, but can today.

I have heard something from Stefan at the Celemony forum or perhaps somewhere else that there was an issue with the Tempo data and multiple instances of Melodyne. I think the work around was a bounce of the first track, but I am not sure.

I suffered this problem today and lost one hour's work. My own fault for not saving under a different name to be on the safe side. I'll try the project again this evening and hope that it works under 2.03 with 'aramodel' problem.

I appreciate the update guys.

WOW!
Thank you very much for this update!
I know we can count on those Hamburg boys. My Studio One runs rock solid now. No nasty cpu spikes anymore. In fact, i can now even pull up my browser, tip this comment during a heavy loaded project playback, with zero glitches. It was not possible with 2.02, it definitly works with the multithread much better. With 2.02. i exprienced some crashes with melodyne, and so far i don't have any. Some bugs like cursor not following playback in melodyne is also fixed, but i think it's the fix from celemony, which is also nice!
Keep up the good work! Your good response to the community is your nr.1 feature!

Vielen Dank Jungs!

same here, I can get over every other bug, but this one has driven me crazy more than I want to remember, and still no confirmation from either Presonus or Celemony that this is a bug and whose is it and when will it be fixed
